Devoted Mothers – Day 5

Day 5, Sunday: Publicly profess your love and devotion for one of your blogger friends. What makes them great? Why do you love them? If you don’t have blogger friends, talk about a real-life friend or even a family member

Wow, writers gridlock for the first time since I starting the Blog every day in May challenge. At first glance, this topic didn’t concern me but while sitting down to write…there was simply NOTHING … inspiration Hallo? I could blame it on being Sunday 10:00 PM, but the humble truth is that I don’t have any close bloggers friends so I’m finding myself feeling a bit …..uhmmm…(biting my nails) … uncomfortable (today’s post should clearly be moved to Day 3). Instead of losing my face babbling why I don’t have any blogger friends – I HAVE ONLY BEEN BLOGGING FOR 2 MONTHS – I’m going to be mature and use today’s topic for the better cause of prepping for Mothers-Day that is coming up next Saturday. To not ruin the big day itself, I will use my words sparsely but would like to share a couple of beautiful and honest motherhood quotes that makes me smile. Just because there is no one with more love and devotion than Mom.

My beautiful Mom

There is only one pretty child in the world, and every mother has it.
~ Chinese Proverb

There is no way to be a perfect mother, and a million ways to be a good one
~ Jill Churchill

Before you were conceived I wanted you. Before you were born I loved you. Before you were here an hour I would die for you. This is the miracle of love.
~ Maureen Hawkins

[A] mother is one to whom you hurry when you are troubled.
~Emily Dickinson

You do not really understand something unless you can explain it to your grandmother.
~ Albert Einstein

God could not be everywhere, so he created mothers.
~ Jewish Proverb

Mother – that was the bank where we deposited all our hurts and worries.
~ T. DeWitt Talmage
