Out of control Fears – Day 7

Day 7, Tuesday: The thing(s) you’re most afraid of

First, I’m so happy about becoming older and wiser. I really don’t understand people who dread this wonderful process? (I should probably mention here that I’m 29). Truthfully speaking, I’m mentioning this a I use to have A LOT of fears – sicknesses, flying, mistakes, failure, rejection, being alone, being dependant (??!!??), death, loosing someone I love. After analysing the root of these fears, I realised that most of them stem from the feeling of being out-of-control. Yup. No psycho-therapy need there. It’s simple and actually quite logical when you think about it – who doesn’t like to be in control in opposed to out-of-control? I believe it’s human nature. Once in a while, I do worry for some of the above reasons. The only difference is that I don’t feed it  –  that’s really the only secret. Bad things happen to good people all the time – but so does good things. The key is just to focus on the good stuff and not let fears get a life of its own. La dolce Vita – it’s indeed a sweet life.
