On my mind: Quirky Shoes
There is no secret that I have a love-hate relationship with high-heels. With my 1.56-petite(love how all french words sound chic and beautiful)-centimeters, I’ve had a pair of heels on my feet as long as I can remember. Love in the sense that there is nothing more captivating (and what can do wonder for your appearance) as a pair of well-crafted heels. Hate because of the endless hours spent with pain, blisters and soar feet.
Picture this; the picturesque-small-finishing-towns in the west-coast in Sweden; tanned and sporty people strolling around in sailing inspired outfits and flats. Moi insisting wearing 4″ heels, jumping between boats and wooden piers. This ended of course with shoes at the bottom of the ocean and heels stuck between the pier planks. This just to tell you that heels and I go way-back, and I have fallen flat on my face (physically) in love (emotionally) many-many times.
Highest on my wish-list right now, is the quirky, gorgeous and whimsical shoes from Sophia Webster. I love everything about these shoes; Sophia’s imaginative choice of colours and patterns, the spot-on-trend silhouettes and the exquisite workmanship. I’m already day-dreaming how I would wear these lovelies – paired with a simple tee and denim – bringing a bit of wonderland to my feet.
