FURLA #CANDYCOOL x Hong Kong
Last week, I attended the Furla #Candycool event. Not knowing what to expect, I was positively surprised when I learned more about this project. In short; # candycool is a global artistic collaboration program created by the Furla, where they work with local artists around the world to create different versions of “Candy Bags”, each in which unique local style elements are included.

In Hong Kong, fashion blogger Elle Lee worked together with the amazing fashion designer Chailie Ho and super talented graphical artists Mickco Chan and Joe Lam, to create the Hong Kong “Candy Bag” version. Chailie used soft watercolours to create a beautiful and romantic pattern of the Hong Kong skyline and the iconic trams; Mickco created a bold-3D fashion illustration and Joe colourfully accessorised the bag. The final result was a fun and over-the-top design, that very much felt typical “Hong Kong”.
